If you’ve genuinely worked through all of the parts of this e unit and its tasks, well done! In this last chapter you will revisit the role of the European Union - the meaning and importance of the “Single European Market”.
The UK economy is increasingly connected with the economies of mainland Europe and even though, at the time of writing, we have yet to adopt the single European currency, it is likely that we will continue to become part of a single European market.
In this final chapter you will look at the significance of the “single European market” - how will/does this affect business activities?
