Explanation

Given a business and information about it, can you explain why and how a business might want to change any of the following

1. the amount of competition
2. the level of supply and/or demand
3. strategies to improve competitiveness

Assistance

A crucial criteria which is really saying “what can a business do to improve its success?”. Moving on from E2 and E3, which are getting you to understand what can impact on business performance, this criteria is asking you to come up with ideas!

The best way to deal with this is to:

1. Understand the various strategies a business can follow to improve success
2. Practice investigating real world businesses that either are currently facing problems or have recently recovered from difficulties.

In other words, you’ve got to use your brain!
