The Grid

The C criteria for this unit are shown in the list below. As with all VCE units, these C criteria focus on your ability to use knowledge when analysing problems. If you are to gain higher than a D grade, you will need to master a number of these criteria. If you are aiming for a B or A grade, then you will need to show mastery of all of these C criteria: in other words, show that you can analyse business problems.

• C1:
  explain how businesses are affected by the type(s) of market within which they operate
• C2:
  analyse how changes in market conditions might affect businesses and stakeholders
• C3:
  explain why businesses seek to influence market conditions
• C4:
  analyse the reasons why governments intervene to manage the economy
• C5:
  explain how businesses adapt to international competition and to the conditions found in international markets
